COVID-19 Testing

We currently do not have the capability to test for COVID-19, but our front desk can assess your symptoms over the phone and direct you to a local testing site or hotline. Every patient will be screened prior to their arrival at the clinic in order to keep patients and staff safe. If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms, such as cough or difficulty breathing, call the clinic at 615-341-0808 so our nurses can advise you on next steps. Please make sure to call before coming into the clinic so necessary precautionary measures can be taken. Do not come directly to the clinic.

We continue to follow all CDC guidelines to reduce risk and minimize any possible exposure – regularly sanitizing the clinic, excellent use of personal protective equipment (i.e. wearing masks, gloves, and gowns as appropriate), and practicing social distancing between employees and patients in the workspace and waiting room.

For more information on COVID-19 symptoms and guidelines to keeping you and your family safe, visit cdc.gov.

Telehealth Services

Faith Family continues to implement new solutions to improve care and convenience. We have implemented telehealth services which are available at no cost for existing patients for the safety and well-being of our employees and patients. Types of telehealth appointments include diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, and medication refills. Providers perform all parts of a normal office visit, except for the physical exam, and patients can discuss their medical needs and concerns from the comfort of their own home.

Expanded Patient Qualifications

We remain committed to supporting the needs of our community in the face of recent unprecedented challenges. Our Executive Committee has approved an interim policy until July 1 that will allow unemployed persons to receive care at FFMC. Patients must show proof of previous employment within the past 6 months and must secure employment within the next 6 months if continuing care is provided by FFMC. Please contact our clinic for any question about eligibility at 615-341-0808.

FFMC is committed to providing high quality medical care to our patients. We will continue to evaluate and treat pain experienced by our patients. We will offer conservative narcotic-free treatment of chronic pain which is associated with some medical conditions. There are multiple options for treating acute pain including oral medications, physical therapy, splinting, exercise, heat and cold, etc. which we can provide or refer our patients. At times, certain conditions will not be able to be treated in our clinic because we will not be able to provide services in a safe and effective method.

The treatment of chronic pain with narcotics has resulted in thousands of deaths, abuse, and diversion of narcotics into our schools and society. Tennessee is one of the states which has been the most severely affected. After evaluating the new guidelines for dispensing chronic narcotics, we have determined our clinic is not set up to and therefore will not manage chronic pain with narcotics.

In the case of a need or desire for chronic narcotic therapy, we recommend obtaining care from a clinic which specifically treats chronic pain. Patients who choose to pursue this option will still have the opportunity for their other medical problems to be treated by FFMC. FFMC will under no circumstances however provide any chronic narcotic therapy.
