Phillip W. Ellenburg J.D.
President & CEO
Supporting Faith Family’s mission of providing hope and healing to our hardworking neighbors in need, is what drew Phil to FFMC as its Chief Development Officer in March 2020. It is that same mission that drives Phil now as President and CEO since April 2021. A graduate of Lipscomb University and the University of Kentucky College of Law, most of his professional life has been spent in the nonprofit space. Phil served at Lipscomb University as General Counsel for nearly 20 years and Vice President for Alumni Relations for 4 years. He also served as President of Middle Tennessee Christian School. A native of Merritt Island, FL, Phil and his wife, Leigh, have called Nashville home for over 30 years and have three adult children. Phil and Leigh are active in their local church and community, spending time with family and friends, and getting to a beach any time they can.
Parker Panovec M.D.
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Panovec attended Lipscomb University before attending the College of Medicine at UT Center for Health Sciences in Memphis. He came to FFMC from Jackson, TN, where he worked for the Jackson Clinic in outpatient medicine and wound care. Prior to this, he practiced and taught both inpatient and outpatient family medicine at the University of Tennessee Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Panovec is married and has two children. He is actively involved in teaching at church. He enjoys watching sports, especially tennis, and spending time with family and friends.
Bryan Jones
Chief Financial Officer
Bryan is originally from Rogersville, TN (upper East TN) but moved to Nashville after graduating college to start his career in public accounting. A graduate of University of Tennessee-Knoxville, Bryan started his career in public accounting for two different Big 4 firms before leaving to work in the health care industry. Most of his professional career was spent at Vanguard Health where he served as Vice President of Financial Reporting. Most recently, Bryan spent nearly 5+ years at Contessa Health, where he was Chief Financial Officer. In his spare time, Bryan enjoys gardening, golf, tennis, listening to music and spending time with family. Bryan's wife (Melanie) and he have 3 children (two in college and one in high school).
Sherry Mast
Chief Operations Officer
Sherry's hometown is Soddy Daisy, TN, but she's been in Nashville for more than 30 years now. A Lipscomb University graduate, she has spent 24+ years in the healthcare field, 19 of which were in management. She also worked for 5 years as a healthcare consultant. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at Tennessee Charitable Care Network and the Safety Net Consortium of Middle Tennessee. Sherry enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, two sons, Jack and Sam, and a new daughter-in-law, Amber. In her spare time she loves reading, traveling, and playing with her dogs, Zeke and Tilly.
Jeff Parsley
Chief Development Officer
Hailing from Smithville, TN, Jeff has 35 years of experience in non-profits, a wealth of expertise, and a deep commitment to service. He has worked at the YMCA and previously for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. His career highlights include leading a $70M Comprehensive Development Campaign for the YMCA of Middle Tennessee and launching the South’s first IMPACT program for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Jeff has been recognized as AFP’s Fundraising Executive of the Year and received the YMCA’s National Eagle award for fundraising. He is deeply enriched by his wife, Michelle, and their six grandchildren.

Nichole Richardson
Executive Staff Coordinator
Nichole grew up in Ashland City and graduated from Lipscomb University. For the last 20 years she worked as an in-house, corporate paralegal. Prior to that she worked as a Director of Childcare at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee. She joined FFMC in January 2022, adding her positive, organized, and growth-oriented energy to our administrative and leadership teams. In her spare time, she loves to be in nature – gardening, hiking, and exploring with her dog, Luna. Nichole also loves baseball and is a loyal New York Mets fan.

Beth Allen
Registered Dietitian
Beth grew up in Shelbyville, TN. She received a BA from MTSU and is a registered dietitian and holds Masters of Education with an emphasis in Curriculum Development. Her professional passion is helping people make healthy choices so they can reach their health goals. Her favorite things to do are to love on her dog, Murphy; go kayaking and fishing, and cook.

Heather Bumbalough
Director of Journey to Wellness
Heather Bumbalough, originally from West Liberty, Ohio, has a strong background in health and wellness. Her first job as a Dietary Aide in a nursing home sparked her passion for nutrition and service. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics with a minor in Chemistry from Ashland University and completed her Dietetic Internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Heather became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in 2014, passed the National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) exam in 2017, and became a Tobacco Treatment Specialist (TTS) in 2023. Her previous roles include Health Coach positions at TriStar Health and Onlife Health. She also served on the Board of the Nashville Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. As the Director of Journey to Wellness at Faith Family Medical Center, Heather combines her passions for individual health coaching, nutrition education, and community service. . She is committed to making nutrition accessible and fostering a supportive environment for patients to achieve their health goals.

Bryan Castorena
Director of Operations
Bryan moved to Nashville with his family when he was five years old. He was a part of the Health Science and Law Academy at McGavock High School and studied at Middle Tennessee State University. Bryan brought to Faith Family five years of customer service training and experience from the retail industry and is thankful to put his skills to use helping our patients and building relationships with them. He is fluent in both Spanish and English which is a tremendous gift for our Hispanic patients. Bryan loves spending time with his family, has a precious newborn son, and is an anime fanatic with One Piece being his favorite show.
Lauren Clanton MHNP-BC
Behavioral Health Nurse Practioner
Lauren is originally from Johnson City, Tennessee. She started her nursing career as a certified nurse aide at the Johnson City Medical Center, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University, then moved here to Nashville to complete her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, where she graduated in 2012. She has worked in the psychiatric hospital, nursing home, hospice, and primary care settings over the last 10 years. She is duly certified as an adult/gerontological primary care nurse practitioner and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, and is excited to be fully focused on taking care of patients' behavioral healthcare needs here at Faith Family! Lauren and her husband Greg enjoy yoga, hiking, amateur rock climbing, and playground, library, and museum exploration with their two young children, Harvey and Gwendolyn.
Andrea Djabi
Registered Nurse
She is originally from Venezuela where she was born and raised. She moved to the United States in 2002 with her parents and younger brother. She graduated with a BSN from Cumberland University. She is happily married and has three wonderful children. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, shopping, and being outdoors.
Jakelin Dominguez
Referral Specialist
Jackie joined Faith Family in 2019 as a Medical Assistant and Front Office Associate. She quickly jumped in to help the nurses as much as she could and continues to be a great addition to our team. She loves to hike waterfalls, play sports, and read. She has a Doberman and German Shepherd she loves very much and enjoys spending time with her family.
Dee Dee Edwards
Physician Assistant
Dee Dee grew up in a military family stationed in LA, FL, and AK. She received her BS in Nutrition from the University of Florida and MS in Medicine from Trevecca Nazarene University. She was a registered dietitian before becoming a PA. She loves spending time with her husband and daughter, and enjoys cooking, reading, watching movies, and corny jokes.
Gabriella Garcia
Medical Assistant
Originally from Nashville, TN, Gabi attended Fortis Institute. She graduated high school early from John Overton with a certification in August 2022. A newlywed and mom-to-be, Gabi enjoys being outdoors, going to baseball games with her husband (Ivan) and spending time with fur baby zuko. She enjoys working with Behavioral health NP Lauren Clanton, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
Megan Huwe
Physician Assistant
Megan, her husband, and two children moved to Nashville from Columbus, Georgia. She grew up in Mississippi, attended Mississippi College, and received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Sciences in Philadelphia. In Georgia, she worked at MercyMed of Columbus, a clinic very similar to ours, and has stated that she feels that helping others is her calling. Because of her love for God, mission work, and caring for others, she was the perfect fit for our team, and we can't wait to see her use her gifts to change lives just like you all do.
Elizabeth Netsch
Nurse Practitioner
Elizabeth was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and works at Faith Family on a part time basis. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Colorado Health Sciences in 1993. She received her graduate degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt School of Nursing in 2002. Elizabeth enjoys running, knitting, cooking and spending time with her husband and two children.
Carly Prentice
Nurse Practitioner
Carly grew up in a military family, but has claimed Nashville as home since 2008. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Medicine, Health, and Society and her Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. Prior to starting at Faith Family, she completed a 3 month nursing residency in the Central Province of Kenya through the Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health. In her free time, Carly enjoys running, climbing, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Karen Robertson
Data and Donor Relations Specialist
Karen's hometown is Ashland City, Tennessee, and her past professional title was Forecast Analyst (no not weather). She told factories what to make and when to make it for JUST IN TIME inventory. Expertise is Excel Reporting, Programming Software in Forecast & Inventory Analyst - manufacturing consumer products. Karen uses these talents in Excel and other programming knowledge to report donor history and patient clinical history. Karen loves Organic Gardening, studying wild edible plants and how to use essential oils for holistic healing. She loves all animals, cats, dogs, cockatiels, and was raised and still adore Tennessee Walking horses and Angus cows.
Benita Sanchez
Bilingual Registered Nurse
Benita is a Nashville native and Middle Tennessee State University graduate. She has been taking excellent care of our patients at FFMC since 2010. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. When she's not at work, she takes care of her four wonderful children, enjoys reading, shopping, and cheering on the Nashville Soccer Club.
Roberto "Beto" Santiago
Chaplain
Roberto was born in Aguascalientes and raised in Mexico City where he studied at the Instituto Baxter of Biblical and Cultural Studies. He then became a Graphic Designer at La Voz Eterna Publishing in Houston, Texas where he attended the University of Houston, studying journalism and public relations. In 1981. Roberto moved to Nashville to attend Lipscomb University, obtaining his BS in Spanish Literature and a Master’s in Psychology. Roberto, or “Beto,” continued his call to evangelize and preach throughout his life and worked for different companies and with his own business interests. He was a minister for the Brentwood Hills church in Nashville for 15 years and has helped start several Spanish-speaking congregations in Nashville and open other mission works abroad. Roberto and his wife Ginger live in Nolensville, TN and they have three children: Rosa, Anton, and Benita. They have 11 grandchildren with another on the way. Roberto is focused on counseling families to help them navigate through life’s difficulties. FFMC’s mission offers a unique opportunity to address all aspects of a healthy life in the physical, nutritional, mental, and spiritual areas.
Liz Threlkeld
Nurse Practitioner
Liz grew up in Oostburg, Wisconsin. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2003. Liz enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Her favorite pastimes are reading, running, spending time outdoors, listening to podcasts and sewing.
Dianelis Torres LPN
Office Administrator
Dianelis was born in Cuba, but has been in Nashville since she was 15. After obtaining her nursing degree in 2011, she started working for Faith Family and has one of our essential, incredible nurses ever since. When she's not busy taking care of patients, she enjoys reading magical realism novels, spending time outdoors with her family and friends, and growing tropical plants with her husband.
Sarah Uroza
Pharm.D
Sarah is from Jonesboro, Arkansas. She graduated from University of Central Arkansas before completing her Doctorate of Pharmacy at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2008. As an Associate Professor for Lipscomb University's Department of Pharmacy Practice, Sarah has managed our on-site pharmacy service and Patient Assistance Program with her pharmacy students since 2015. In addition to teaching multiple classes, she is also the chapter advisor for the American Pharmacist Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting and spending time with her husband, Carlos, and son, Luke.
Julie Webb
Communications and Events Manager
Julie Webb is a Nashville native with a passion for making a difference in people's lives. She holds both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work from Lipscomb University and the University of Tennessee, respectively, and is a licensed master-level social worker. Julie spent many years as a therapeutic counselor in a high school before transitioning to roles in marketing, communications, advancement, and event planning. At Faith Family Medical Center, Julie loves sharing the great work being done and helping to improve the lives of others. When she's not working, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful children. She also loves cooking, working out, shopping, hanging out with friends, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols.

Carolyn Williams

Carolyn hails from Columbus, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2004, and her Master’s Degree in Science and Medicine from Trevecca in 2007. In her spare time Carolyn enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three children.
Anne Layman Wires
Patient and Community Engagement Director
Anne’s career has been devoted to helping people through health and human services nonprofit organizations. She is delighted to now be a part of serving the patients at Faith Family Medical Center, primarily overseeing our new program HealthPass. Anne brings valuable experiences and training from her time employed by Ascension Saint Thomas, American Heart Association, United Way and Life Credit Union, as well as serving in numerous and varied volunteer positions in the community. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky and a master level degree in organizational management from Trevecca Nazarene University. Anne enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends and animals, being outside when it’s not too hot, and discovering God’s blessings each day.
