TREATING THE WHOLE PERSON NOT JUST THE SYMPTOMS IS THE GOAL OF FAITH FAMILY MEDICAL CENTER.

People without health insurance often tend to skip primary medical care altogether. As a result, they often find themselves in the hospital Emergency Room with medical conditions that are more serious, more complicated and more expensive than they might have been. Faith Family enables people to seek treatment in the earlier stages of their illnesses.

Another benefit that Faith Family can offer is continuity of care. The patients at Faith Family are able to enter into a relationship with a medical provider who they will see each time they come to the clinic for an appointment.

When patients come to Faith Family for the first time, many are in need of comprehensive care. We are able to fulfill this need because of the many services we provide; including family medicine, diagnostic lab testing, physical therapy and individual or family counseling. The dedicated physicians and nurse practitioners emphasize the healing of the whole person including their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

When the medical needs of our patients exceed what we can offer here at Faith Family, we send them to our “extended family” of professionals who often see our patients for a reduced fee. Area hospitals also support our mission because it assists in reducing unnecessary visits to their emergency rooms.

To further address the needs of our patients, we initiated the health and wellness program: Journey to Wellness (J2W). J2W program exists to help patients make lasting changes in their lifestyle and improve the management of their health problems.
